Creating time redundancy with optical clocks as we propose, will contribute further to the communication sector, where the 5G networks must keep time better than 100ns, so that the transmitters do not talk over each other. Our watches can help to replace the GPS receivers, which are easily disturbed by GPS jammers. Furthermore, our efforts in the coming years will also enable new services for the telecommunications sector supporting the telecom critical infrastructure.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[At DTU Physics in the section for quantum physics and information technology (QPIT), among other activities we explore colour centre based quantum sensors. Operating at ambient conditions - room temperature, standard pressure or solution - these are particularly useful for ultra-sensitive and non-invasive detection of induced magnetic field, thus providing new means for applications in the biomedical and the life sciences. We have a fruitful collaboration with DFM and we are looking forward to continue this collaboration in the future towards developing more robust sensors with fundamentally limited resolution with potential for providing new methods for early diagnosis of diseases and finding cures to the benefit of society.]]></description>
